What is a General Officer?

General Officer posts are created by Cabinet Executives or the Chief Executive, and they have nicher, unique responsibilities. For example, a General Officer for Nottingham, or an Executive General Officer for Staff Management.

Before you start your application to join STM's team as a General Officer, you should decide which vacant role matches you best. We'd prefer if you have experience in this sector - we do not offer an extensive training programme.
