Some information about me
Harry Burr is a 15 year-old sustainable transport promoter/campaigner. He’s currently Chief Executive at Sustainable Transport Midlands, as well as Young Persons Ambassador at Rail Forum Midlands, a transport industry body.
Harry also leads Daventry Transport Development Group within Sustainable Transport Midlands – leading on efforts to improve Daventry’s connection to the public transport network, in close connection with West Northamptonshire Council. He’s also taken the role of Cabinet Executive for the South Midlands for the time being given his area knowledge.
Harry grew up in Canterbury, South East, before moving to Northampton, East Midlands, where he now calls home. He has ambitions in the future to move back to the South East.
Harry writes in his local village newsletter on a frequent basis, initially to share his experience of living in a canal boat in Northampton Borough, but more recently, he writes to keep the community up-to-date on STM’s projects in West Northamptonshire.

My favourite things about our network!
While STM works on improving our public transport provision, I'd like to share what I enjoy about our current network!
My favourite railway:
High Speed 1
A marvel of engineering, and the UK's first true High Speed railway.
My favourite station:
Birmingham New Street
A huge and modern railway station - one that's going through major change.
